Workout trends come & go, but walking has been proven time & time again to be one of the most effective workouts to get yourself into great shape & better health. Power Walk workouts give you the same benefits of regular outdoor walking & then some!
We will work muscles not normally used in a regular outdoor walk (inner and outer thighs!), keep a consistently brisk pace & add strength training--a full body workout! In a 45 minute class, you will have walked the equivalent of 3 miles. There is no complicated choreography--just four simple moves. If you can walk, then you can do this workout! You can walk as fast or as slow as you need to...you can't do this wrong! Whether you're a beginner or have been working out for years, this workout is for everyone! All shapes, sizes, and fitness levels are welcome! "Live" indoor walk classes create a synergy among walk class members through a group class environment; the group class environment provides the ongoing support, motivation and inspiration to not only begin to walk--but to continue to walk for health and weight loss.
